A big-fish venue if you’re up to it! Catfish
have now been caught at a massive 69lb with others
being caught at 54lb and 48lb during 2009.

To accommodate the pleasure
of the growing number of keen carp enthusiasts, one
of the four original spring-fed ponds was turned into a Specimen Lake
of three-quarter acres. Heavily stocked with
large fish, mirror carp, ghost carp and a wide variety of coloured
carp. it regularly yields hefty catches of
20lb-plus residents, enough to satisfy the most eager carp
anglers, with top weights now reaching up to 28lbs.
The new Bottom Lake offers
small carp and bream, all about 5lb in weight, although this pond
has already produced carp to 16lb
All lakes are available for night fishing.
Access to all water
is good with open grassy banks - quite suitable for the disabled
and enough room for the longest pole. All ponds are up to 6ft deep
with silt bottoms.
We have adequate parking and toilet facilities. Also tea, coffee
and a small selection of bait are available to buy.

The recent heat wave has seen the the
Catfish lake producing some of its bigger residents
with 50 and 60lb+ Catfish being caught in last week of
June.
The other lakes have been fishing well although I'm
not getting as many photo's from these ponds as last
year. Please send your photo's in and I will be more
than happy to display them in our gallery
